I know this is no barometer of quality but hes white often in the ‘winning team’ training photos. Hes training with the first team regularly. If he can’t even get on the bench tonight, theres no hope but its all very odd at this point

I think even players with no future train with the squad unless something else has gone on, the fact he is training with them and not being picked even over kids means a decision has been made on his ability.

Their line-up is incredibly defensive. Reckon they’re just gonna play for penalties and frustrate us.

Meaning that they're missing 5 of their best XI for this game from the start.

Kelleher, Collins, Henderson and Igor are the spine of their team. Only one starts.

It's still a very capable Brentford team. It'll pose questions from a physical POV. But it's also missing goals in the form of Igor and Ouattara. And Fabio Carvalho is also missing. He usually plays and assists/scores in this competition.
