10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Makes things happen. Would be funny if after all those wonderful KDB years, Cherki comes in and smashes the assists record in his 1st season.
Love him as a player but I think he is quite a way short of KdB at the moment in terms of jaw dropping assists. Different players with Cherki being more focussed on shorter passes but I am delighted that we have him.

The challenge for him must be to stay grounded and not become complacent, because he has unlimited talent that he needs to fully utilize. The good thing about him is that he's a true football lover; for him, it's more than a job, he's genuinely passionate about the sport, and above all, he has a healthy lifestyle. He's not someone who likes to go out, party, or drink... he's very professional.

He needs to aim for 30 G/A and more each season in the Premier League

For me, yesterday he played his best match without the ball, but that's the area he still needs to work on and improve: quick defensive tracking back, winning duels, closing down spaces... If he succeeds in all of that, he'll leave his mark on football history.

A bright future awaits him, especially with the French national team under Zidane after the World Cup, who is very receptive to this type of player, unlike Deschamps, and who will surely make him his number 10, his linchpin and playmaker.

Don't care about the goals and assists. What impresses me most is his willingness to graft for the team. Pep is keeping him in check and his bringing that fire out of him. We already knew he had that magic ability to change games.

Can't wait for Rodri to come back fully fit. This City team will be very scary.
4-2-3-1
Giggi
Nunes-Dias-Gvardiol-O'Reilly
Nico-Rodri
Cherki-Foden-Doku
Haaland

We ever get this starting eleven fit and ready we have pep 3.0 complete.

I'm beginning to think that we might actually have the most talented and skilful football player in the entire world on our hands...haha!!!.

Every game he just does stuff to show us what he is made of and it’s so amazing to watch in live time

A lot to love, but Pep isn't going to love him losing the ball unnecessarily as much as he does at times, and I don't mean when he's trying to create a chance, but when he's doing simple things. He alluded to it as much after his rabona assist.
