52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

That’s him done I think, off on loan or permanent in Jan
There is no team going to take him on loan or permanently unless he has overcome his injury issues.
The best place for him is with us until he reaches full fitness, if ever.

You can see that he's lacking experience and regular minutes. He's 22, but has played less than 50 senior games at club level.

It's a real shame that the injury happened when it did in 2024. I think that he's unlikely to make it at City, but could develop into a very good player by the times he's 24/25 if he moves to the right club. Regular football and a style of play that suits his style. He needs a consistent run of starts.

Tonight was a good opportunity for him. Rotten luck.

I don't think he's done enough to make me want us to keep him when you factor in the injuries.

The 343 that Palace uses would suit Bobb well, letting him play somewhat in the middle.

I can see a deal with him a Guehi, but I've not given up on him.

The injuries really suck, because I still think there is a quality player, but he just never gets enough time.

I still think it would be a shame letting him go but going somewhere he plays regularly will really help.

He’s not a winger he’s a 10. To really succeed here he’d have to be playing similar roles to Cherki or Foden the last few games. Either in the middle or drifting inside as the full back overlaps.

Are we writing him off too early? Especially after a serious injury.

A bit like palmer and others, it kind of feels like he just needs regular game time over a season to show how good he is.

Needs to go on loan. Playing minutes are imperative for him now and he’s not going to get enough of them here this season

I really like him - always feel that he makes defenders so nervous with his quick feet, and that when he's up for it something is always likely to happen.

Nevertheless, I can't see that there's any real future for him here, with so much competition up front, from other young players.

For Oscar's sake, I just hope that he has a cracking World Cup and somebody snaps him up. He's too talented to sit on a bench at this stage of his career.

Some people are yea. He's presumably on small wages and hasn't kicked up a fuss about not starting. Good squad player for now. Plenty of time for him yet
