I have to interject here because there is a common idea here that he will fail because he won't cut it against low blocks. but I have to say - we don't actually face *that* many low blocks. We don't peg teams back as much as we used to. In fact, we tend to get pressed very high up the pitch and give the ball away a lot. I actually think semenyo can thrive under this if pep utilizes him.

I do. I like Semenyo and he’d certainly strengthen the squad but i think N’diaye could be special in a team like ours. He’s brilliant in tight spaces has his skill is ridiculous and he works his bollocks off

We need to get this deal done in the first week! Of January but we should know by now if he wants to come to us!

I`m sure i read is clause is only valid until the 10th Jan?

We should be going and activating that release clause on the 1st Jan if he's agreed to join. Got Chelsea on the 4th and Brighton on 7th. Bournemouth don't even have to factor into the equation with the release clause but you just know the club will wait till the 10th to get it done.

Doku might be back inside a fortnight.

I am interested in Semenyo because he improves our options on the right hand side immediately. We are fighting for the Premier League and Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup. We need a top class right sided forward. It is unlikely that Savinho improves fast enough this season to be a top line attacking threat.

That’s true and obviously we need strength in depth so i might be being hypothetical but in our first choice 11 Cherki starts from the right. There’s no other way of getting him and Foden in the team when Doku is flying down the left

That would be nice to have early doors mate if indeed we can get him.
