Pep learned something in mid-week, with certain players willing to take risk and show real confidence in congested passing spaces. May be too early to integrate into the system for West Ham, or could it be the perfect game to allow players to show Pep that it was no flook.

Hammers have looked terrible this season, and rightly in the bottom 3. Not often that I don’t worry about a game, but with this, I’m more looking at our set-up than the result, as I think we’re already onto a winner.

Yep, but Bowen is amongst the most consistent players in the Premier League, and is behind most of the goals West Ham score ..... we SHOULD win the game, but they are a team capable of nicking a draw if we aren't up to scratch .... just as they did at Old Trafford!

Getting a draw is a little harder at the Etihad than it is at the swamp though.

Rijinders has much more physical presence than Savinho and will help the midfield battle. It will make Nico G’s job easier. Savinho on against tired legs.
