Praise from coms but with a weird denial thing.

Good team, score lots of goals but I wouldn’t pay to watch. Arsenal however, brilliant at everything.

Once you move past the emotions those comments try to ignite and see it all about creating narratives which caused engagement for certain purpose you see through it.

Used to wind me right up until I took a step back to try and find a reason for the negativity that surrounds city in the media.

Once you see it, their views become redundant.

I was watching ESPNFC the other night and while I quite like Steve Nicol and Craig Burley, they were still talking about us being easy to score on, even though we’d just completed 4 games with 1 goal conceded (and 10 scored), including away games in Madrid and at Palace. Now we’ve added another clean sheet.
 
Some very tidy performances, some excellent interplay, but we mess around too much at the back, especially in the left back area(where NOR & Josko need to hoof it every now and then!).

As always, when we make wholesale changes it gets a little bitty, but there was still enough on the field to get another 2 or 3 goals.

Was very interested to see how Pep slotted Bernie in next to Nico in the second half to stop them getting a foothold, then took off Bernie for Rico and Khusanov for Nico, and slotted Nunes and Rico into the middle. Wasn’t brilliant, but Nunes never looked out of place and Rico managed to break forward a few times.

Nice cameo from Savinho, who is threatening to make something of his talent, and I’m glad to see Khus getting more minutes.

3-0 starting to become “our score!”
