I think he treats it like baseball where you sign up as many good young 'prospects' as possible not expecting to keep them all but as trading chips, then in baseball a lot of established players move as free agents almost always for the most money.

So in the past 24hrs he's been nailed on for the rags "by all accounts" according to one poster, definitely going to Liverpool to replace Salah/cover for Isak and now going to Chelsea because he supports them and grew up there. With the City links floating around amidst all this.

I've got to say, at the start of this season is have never had Semenyo down as the hottest property in the Premier League come the January window!

I think what this shows is that any footballer worth their salt should negotiate a release clause into their deal should be they be playing at mid to below premier league side.
