When I was at university in Stoke, I used to travel to Manchester with a couple about 20 minutes' walk away, but we’d alternate in driving.

One Saturday, just before I arrived at their house, I realised I’d left my season ticket book at my digs.

When my mate answered the door, I told him, and his response was, "You’re not getting away with it that easily".

I remember going back to my local after losing to Bury in those dark days. Pinned it up on the dartboard and left it there in disgust. Come back the next day and some **** had nicked the drawing pin!

I threw mine at the directors seat aiming for swales. Towards the end of the cup game against Spurs ( the phelan Wonder goal )
I also received it back through the post explaining my renewal slip is in the season ticket.
Typical swales watching every little penny. CTID
