Pretty poor that. Pep needs to change tactics to have any chance here. Dyche has sussed him so far today. Playing with 10 men (Haaland pointless so far) and just waiting for the ball to drop to our forward isn’t working today. They are first to most balls as well. As for us, the patterns of play have been OK, and we have found the open player between the lines, but then NO-ONE seems to want the open shot…unless they wait until a defender can get a block in!

In addition, the defensive out balls over the top have been hit with the touch of a rhino!

Yep. I feel like we're missing Doku, but not just because he's a great player, but because we miss someone who's fast as fuck and can take on defenders. I honestly think Savinho should come on, but I know that's an unpopular opinion on here. I think he'd stretch them and create space for others to play in. At the moment, they can just stay narrow in the knowledge that we've got no threat out wide.
