10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

What makes me laugh is the amount of scousers I see on social media who are desperate to belittle Cherki and make out like their 100 mill man Wirtz is in a different class to him. Relax and enjoy your own signing lads, we're doing just fine with our chubby little French lad!

Seriously though, the guy is phenomenal. Frightening how good he could be with a bit more seasoning at this level. Didn't think he was at his best today, a fair few things broke down for him today but the ball for Reijnders' goal was perfection and a belting finish to win it. To have that sort of impact in a real tough away game speaks volumes for his ability to affect games when it matters. That was my concern about him. He's got all the flair and talent in the world but can he be a killer when we need him to be? He's already proving he can be.

Hope to be watching him in our colours for years to come.

I'd love to see what the bald frau Pep could do with Wirtz. He's obviously got talent; he was outstanding for Leverkusen and the national team. I would highly doubt that he's morphed into Barry Conlon in the space of half a year! But, getting back to the main man, it's pretty clear who made the better buy last summer.

I've no doubts Wirtz is a class player and will do great for Liverpool. Liverpool fans just seem to be really sore about Cherki for some reason instead of just enjoying their own lad coming into form and showing why they spent all that dough on him. Odd behaviour. But that's them in a nutshell isn't it.

What do you expect from the Cult?

If Cherki was playing for Liverpool he would be the steal of the season and the best midfield player in the World ATM.

KDB gene, special players have this. KDB could make 15 crosses and only 2 work. Those two would make us win the game. That’s why I call him the new KDB

Hes got the "X-factor" which wins games, hes that guy

6G/8A in 910 minutes across the Prem, Champions league and league Cup.... thats a goal or assist every 65 minutes... phenomenal
