Fair doo’s mateHe’s literally said he was an Arsenal fan in an interview with The Athletic.
His injury record is also practically non-existent. A much underestimated attribute.Something that doesn’t get mentioned with Semenyo is his work rate. They lost yesterday but the way he tracks back uses his strength to win the ball then launch attacks with his speed. It’s even more similar to Mane at the dippers.
I think Pep really does take on and listen to Pep Lijnders. Semenyo is a very Lijnders / Klopp type winger.
Good technical ability but more his work rate and effectiveness in the final third, with his ball carrying and pace, it’s similar to what when Lijnders was with Klopp the wingers did.
