The Labour Government

I'm starting to think Starmer isn't the leader Labour needs or wants. He's tone deaf on far too many issues.
I know folk will try and put forward he's been useless from the start but I think 12/18 months or so is enough time to make a more rounded judgement.
But hasn't he made loads of U turns when pressure is put on? That involves listening doesn't it?

It’s the same as the Begum issue. Both governments should have just left the security services to do their job.

It’s gold dust for opposition parties to use, which both governments should have flat batted back saying they trust MI5/6 to do their jobs in accordance with the law.
What would the security services doing there job look like ?

I don’t think Begum should have lost her citizenship. I still don’t understand her case. You cannot be made stateless she seemingly doesn’t have Bangladeshi citizenship yet that’s the reason she has apparently lost her UK citizenship she has no other citizenship other than possibly the Bangladeshi one.

Perhaps we are told she has lost her citizenship but she has simply been left where she is.

I also think she is our problem and some security services have argued she is less of threat here deradicalised and monitored.

I am also not sure I am comfortable with dual nationals and usually brown / Asian / Muslim being affectively punished twice once by prison and again by striping of citizenship when none duel / white western people either cannot or are less likely to be stripped of citizenship and if we are going to do this on what basis ? How serious a crime. This guy has not been charged or convicted Begum I don’t think has been charged and cannot be convicted till she returns.

His tweets are terrible and perhaps worse than a lot of physical crimes but that’s probably subjective a lot of people wanting him deported and stripped of his citizenship have probably argued anything similar said by right wingers are just hurty words.

I also don’t think that anyone should be jailed in Egypt or anywhere else on trumped up charges especially a British Citizen and that the government should do all it can to get them out as they did and as the previous lot tried to do no matter how nasty they may or may not be

It's bad optics like a few other things since he came into power. I've no intention of giving them a free pass just because they aren't as bad as the last mob of useless cunts.
Bad optics yes but nothing to do with being tone deaf or the Labour Party as whole and was still the right thing to do to get him out not to tweet about it being so great tho.

I do wonder why this came out like this one why was no check made two who discovered the tweets and held them back till he was freed everyone was seemingly trying to get him out human rights groups the last government this one maybe even some foreign governments seems like another thing done to attack the government perhaps even bring it down rather than point out issues raise concerns fix issues.

We should have got him out of jail and brought him home but not tweeted about it
Home? He has never lived here has he??
And I'm sure that he will absolutely love Brighton and it's 10 percent LGBQT population!
Let's hope they aren't white aswell eh? Don't want him traumatised by having to sit on his arse whilst being funded by gays and white folk do we?

The world's gone mad

And I'm sure, when two tier introduces this low life to his Jewish wife he will shake her hand and smile politely.

Be carful, the lefties on here will be calling you extreme far right for posting this..
Well-known lefty A.I. says:

Based on 2021 Census data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), 47.6% of social housing households in London have a lead tenant who was born outside of the UK.
However, this statistic is often misinterpreted or presented without context:
  • Lead Tenants vs. All Residents: The 47.%figure refers specifically to the "Household Reference Person" (the individual who completes the census form). It does not necessarily represent every individual living in those homes.
  • Birthplace vs. Nationality: Being "born outside the UK" does not mean a person is currently a foreign citizen. Analysis of the same data shows that approximately 68% of these lead tenants (about 257,200 people) hold a British passport.
  • Foreign Nationals: When looking specifically at nationality rather than birthplace, data suggests only about 11% of London's social housing is occupied by foreign nationals.
  • Demographic Context: The high proportion in London reflects the city's overall diversity; roughly 49% of all household heads in London (across all housing types) were born overseas.
  • Length of Residency: The vast majority of foreign-born social housing tenants in London have lived in the UK for decades. Just 1.2% of social housing tenants are foreign-born individuals who moved to Britain since 2017.

Summary of Social Housing Lettings (2024–2025)
For new social housing lettings across all of England in the 2024/25 period:
  • 89% of lead tenants were UK nationals.
  • 4% were EEA nationals.
  • 8% were nationals from outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Be careful, you may want to verify the source on this. I’m sure looking at @juice8882’s profile he is a very truthful source of primary and secondary research.

Why don't you just provide accurate information based on impartial rearch to counter his information?

Why not post an impartial and well researched report to counter the research he's provided?
It's not "research". It's a government statistic. The key question is who's outraged by it.

Answer: the sort of people who don't think the Windrush scandal was a scandal.
