American.. but with so many Americans hell bent on destroying America from within.. I'm more concerned with saving what I can rather than trying to lose it all.

And we've been losing it all since the 1980's and Reagan.

From then the middle class of America has become the WORKING POOR!

I have a friend like that I spent a golf weekend with in 24, on an annual trip with other friends who are more in line with my thinking. But when it came around to 25 I begged out and I won’t be going again. The rest of the guys can handle it by ignoring the topic I guess. Life is too short.

Good.
I spend alot of time in Spain, the American visitors are strange. They spend all their time comparing everything to "Home".
Of course places can be "cute", but they are always smaller than at home, especially "tapas", they cannot get their heads around small portions of food.
And Big, they are all so bloody big, and not in the good way.
Knowledge of history, don't get me started about that, like Trump the other day, spouting that the US of A had ships in Greenland 350 years ago, what ?
We need less MAGA in Spain.
 
Foreign investors still selling US currency holdings steadily. I think the dollar is down about 10% this year.
From a British pov, US.numbers for employment, inflation, growth etc don’t look too bad, because the UK economy is hopeless.

The Euro will progressively get stronger as major contracts for defence equipment and IT based architecture move to procurement in Europe and away from the USA. With the growth of the use of Euro transactions there will be no need to price oil in $ reducing the demand for $ to pay for oil. This will continue to weaken the $.
 
Strange because our resident Tory shill, Brewster assured us all that there's no way on earth that honest Don was a Russian sympathiser.

His track record isn't great though so not that surprising his error of judgement is a bit off.

Yup. Reaganomics and the rise of the Chritian Nationalist are the keystones for what we have today.

Maybe you misinterpreted my post. My English friend and all his English friends that live there are MAGA. None of them who live there are interested in the locals and very few have bothered to learn the language

Ironically; The same people who claim who moved from the UK because they were fed up of migrants taking over town and cities.

They are ex pats which is different apparently.

I agree with that.

Have had a house in Spain 22 years, we both learnt the language, and don't mix with ex pats.
They continue to watch brit tv, voted for brexit, and stick together.
Why would you want to holiday with British magas, in Spain, a strange enclave indeed.
