None of our current wide players attack the back post like we used to do ....especially Sterling and a little less Sane ....I dont know whether that is under instruction from Pep or they just dont get it ......

Semenyo with his pace and eye for goal should be hopefully doing this and as you said he is a real threat with his shooting in general (which was where Sterling was weaker - improved with us but was still weaker)

he also adds a notable physicality which is lacking in our forward line with the exception of Haaland and possibly Doku (very strong for his size)

It will be intersting to see if we do adopt any long throw tactics....Pep likes possession and its a way of quickly losing the ball if it doesnt come off BUT it could also be a huge attacking weapon with the likes of Haaland in their and how good he is at feeding off the loose ball in the box
 
Looking forward to us getting him, should be a cracking addition to the squad. Gives us more incisive attacking threat and goals, excited to see him play for us.

Great that we’re getting him when all our top rivals and the rags wanted him too.

Good chance for Chelsea to nobble him before he makes his debut for us against…….Chelsea
Maybe we get a reverse situation where he takes a Chelsea player out. Maybe gets a card for Caicedo.
 
With Marmoush (who I personally think should settle with being a second choise striker at this level) hopefully returning fit and full of confidence from Afcon and this fella we will have a lot of goals in the squad to add to Haaland. Starting to get really excited about this
