Media discussion - 2025/26

Suddenly, City look like they have a chance of the title, and so the mediah jumps on every possible chance to put City down and claim bad refereeing decisions.
Almost exactly the same squad last season and not one mention of the ‘dark arts’.
It’s every other report now, which suggests they’re terrified we’re going to win it again…

When they use ominous in regards to us I never feel like it's a dig, just the hard realisation that we are back in business and everyone else should be afraid.
Yep. And that it’s a bad thing. Cos obviously City supporters not really welcome to be a part of whatever they are talking about/writing … in other words they are producing output for everyone except us!

You’re spot on. The thick feckers probably don’t know exactly what the word ominous actually means means though with their GCSE grade D in English.

“giving the worrying impression that something bad is going to happen; threateningly inauspicious.”

Ominous always implies something unpleasant or threatening. By use of that word they are actually underlining their bias against City.
Exactly that, mate.

Channel 7 news here in Oz a couple of days ago and the round up of the previous night’s football, apparently Arsenal got it done, Villa boosted their title challenge and the rags won again…..I think that was the only games played?

Watching MOTD, Everton just dispatched those moaning, whingeing f**kers at Forest (Brian Clough must be turning in his grave with the current set up there..) so well done Toffees.

Wolves next, about to take only their third point of the season against The Red Filth and end their run of eleven defeats on the bounce.

Wonderful stuff, especially after all the garbage thrown at us all week following the Forest game and also how The Filth were 'bigged up' (yet again!) after a slutchy win.

A shame Villa decided to play like a bunch of wazzocks and were unable to deny The Tarquins of the extra couple of points.

Let's hope the Lads get the win on Wearside to ramp up the pressure on The Arse and also on the media shills who clearly don't want us to succeed..

Happy New Year, all..!

Any discussion of why when a blue commits an offence when already on a yellow card,it’s a travesty when a red is not shown, but when a gooner does it, there’s a higher standard for the second yellow card?

Thought not.
There’s also the player waving a card.
Forest player waved one for the Dias non 2nd yellow incident- no action.
Wolves player waved against United - yellow card

View attachment 178853might aswel pack it in now blues. According to this ITK for the Pathetic, Pep's off
The media have reported that Pep was going every season for the past decade. His contract is up soon and most City fans are well aware that one day he will leave after cementing his position as the greatest manager of all time. Perhaps this club source thinks he is Nostradamus.
