It is still against the rules to block off someone trying to play the ball. Every corner by Arsenal is multiple obstructions and fouls. Could not happen anywhere else in the world. But nothing from the media. The tactic is to stand right behind the keeper so he can’t jump and in front of him. It is cheating in plain sight but nothing from the media or PGMOL.

I suppose the thing to do if you're the keeper is to make the game unplayable and a farce by keeping pushing the players out of the way and shoving making the ref keep stopping the corner being taken, or even putting most of your defence in the 6 yard box to make it overcrowded. It may take a few bookings or even a sending off but at least it'll highlight the farce that it is.
The law should be only the GK in the 6 yard box until the kick is taken. They've adjusted laws for things that we've done over the years.

It would have been the dark art of the Century.
Talksport with Jordan, White, Keown etc al would be all over it. Ref watch would make it a weekly event.
On Saturday, I was right behind the goal at Forest and Donnaruma took the situation in his own hands and gave it to Milenkovitch at every corner.
It is a farce, why are the media not covering it.

Law 12 states if a player impedes an opponent with contact it's a direct free kick. Happens at every corner.Arsenal are the worst offenders.

The comment literally said we colluded to cheat the system with under the counter payments from sponsors, something we had been cleared of by CAS.

You can take it further, I complained about a comment, they refused to remove it saying it hadn’t broken the rules, so I complained again and this time they agreed and removed it. To be honest it’s a losing battle, they should be professional enough to do their job, but it’s the BBC.

I've just looked back at 2025, in the calender year, 55 games, 36 wins, 7 draws, 12 defeats (in all competitions), equates to 115 points, 50 points dropped.

In just league games, 25 wins, 5 draws, 7 defeats, so 80 points.

Not at our highest standard obviously, but hardly "forgettable".

"Forgettable" is the rags year, but the bbc won't write that against their manager.

What does it say about the value of the PL and FA Cup if finishing third in the former and being runners up in the latter is ‘forgettable’.

Thinking about it, no season is ever forgettable, even if it’s for the wrong reasons. There are always talking points and things to remember, if you follow a football club. To suggest otherwise demeans what it means to support a football club.

The BBC HYS is just a very small version of Question Time. In both you are lead to believe that you can make any valid point but in reality anything not part of their script/narrative gets taken down or not heard.

Thinking about it, no season is ever forgettable, even if it’s for the wrong reasons. There are always talking points and things to remember, if you follow a football club. To suggest otherwise demeans what it means to support a football club.

They just need to enforce the existing rules. PGMOL operate differently to the rest of the world. Why?

They have copied Arsenal. Before the kick is taken two players run behind the keeper. They run into the goal net first. leaving the field, then rush towards the keeper from behind. Meanwhile another player stands directly in front, boxing the keeper in. It is just breaking the rules. You don’t have to make contact to impede someone. It’s just a foul. Why are PGMOL allowing this here. It won’t be allowed in the CL or the WC.
