Antoine Semenyo | Medical at City Thursday - Sky (p230)

Knowing how Arsenal players operate—especially with Gabriel back—you can expect them to be extremely motivated and overly aggressive with the intention to injure him, given the fact he’s headed our way. This move has serious potential to disrupt their season and damage their chances of winning this highly coveted trophy.

We’ve already seen Rodri sidelined because of them, and Khusanov got targeted and injured when we played them, once they saw our defence was looking solid against them. That pattern doesn’t go unnoticed. Arsenal—players and management alike—are under immense pressure and are very desperate. Desperate times often lead to desperate measures.

Anyway, if he does play against Arsenal, as it looks increasingly likely, I hope he helps and Arsenal drop points. It wouldn’t just benefit us, but him as well. It would put him a step closer to lifting his first major trophy, and that alone should be motivation enough.
That Gabriel fella is insanely unlikeable.

I am not sure if its fortunate or unfortunately, but our players are too honourable. They compete on skill and merit, aiming to outplay opponents fair and square. And even if we did have players willing to play dirty, they’d be booked—or sent off—so quickly it would make our heads spin. We’re already treated harshly by some red colour tinted refs just for stepping onto the pitch.
Bernie can be a prick sometimes but he's pretty much the only one.

We are missing Fernandinho's attitude.

Need the fucker to produce the goods against arse or no transfer. -:)

Come on pep get him riled up to take points.

Most legal stuff drags over the Christmas period, offices closed over public holidays, staff holidays etc.

I expect him to debut in the Exeter FA Cup match

Fuck bournemouth wanting to keep him for weekend, get the fucker signed and registere

It would make sense to get the deal as advanced as possible and organise a medical for immediately after the Bournemouth - Arsenal game. To force a deal through, we'd probably have to pay all the fee up front and we may not want to do that. There are pluses and minuses to each route. For example, he is the best hope Bournemouth have of taking points from Arsenal.
