Which is hilarious because MAGA are convinced this is why the Iraq war happened, but in actual fact no American oil and gas companies took over Iraq's oil. Some defence contractors like Halliburton got nice gigs protecting the oil fields, but every gallon of oil that came out of Iraq still belonged to the Iraqi National Oil company.

The oil in Venezuela is also really shit. They aren't poor because they can't be bothered to extract it or have no one to sell it to, it's just really bad quality suphuric oil that's hard to extract.

It's shown everyone that international law is bullshit and if you've got a big enough military that no one wants to start a war with you, you can do whatever you like - and China obviously fits into that category.

It's also going to drive any neutral country to develop closer ties to China because Trump's America is unhinged.


This has been an incredible start to the new year for China, and their new year is still a month away!

If I was running the show, that’s exactly what I would do.
 
Let's remember that Trump bailed out his mate in Argentina, freed the convicted Narco Terrorist and former leader of Honduras, further he levied huge tariffs on Brazil in support of his mate, Bolsarano.
Trump believes North America should run, via puppet regimes, central and South America.

Europe needs to be afraid because he certainly doesn't think we should exist politically as we are.

100% chance they're talking about that in Whitehall now too. The special relationship was already bullshit but for all we know he's a few months away from extrajudicially invading Scotland and abducting Nicola Sturgeon because there's wind farms near Turnberry.

He has said this afternoon that he is after the oil. He also seized two of their oil tankers a few weeks ago
 
Trump envisages a world in which: China rules Asia; Russia rules Europe and America rules the Western hemisphere. If China and Russia are encouraged by what has happened, so much the better, Trump feels. Xi and Putin are his natural bed mates.
