Save Our Ruben Interim | Sacked (p76)

Very, very tough game today against their arch-rivals (?) low-flying Leeds, who are on a decent run of form. If Interim can keep down the number of goals conceded, he'll have done well, and that'll be evidence to trust him to spend another £200M in this January window.

A lot of teams have crashed their bus at Elland Road, so defeat'll be no disgrace. Need to keep something in the tank for a tough match away next - at Burnley.

In Ruben we trust - always.

Great well earned point again yesterday away at in form Leeds.
Still in top six in premier league.
Still got positive goal difference.
All this with his best players out injured or on international duties.
The guys a genius
Forget replacing him they should extend his contract and let him spend another quarter of a million in this window.
In Ruben we trust

Certainly doesn’t talk like a man who is trying to stay, but he’s also not stupid enough to walk away from the money.

When you look around the field at United’s team, you have to marvel at how the club could have spent so much money and yet have so few quality individuals anywhere on the park.

They really have fallen so far.

Come on guys
All this He's gone talk would be better off discussing in the separate Rags thread.
Were trying to save Ruben not nail his coffin lid down.
His last interview looked like he's already heard rumours Chelsea or Barcelona are after him. Definitely not being a pundit at world cup.
He will be to busy spending millions of the swamp Rags money after getting his contract extension.
In Ruben we trust.

Critical few days, Burnley away and then Brighton in the cup.

We were at this position a few months ago when suddenly all the press were getting backhanders to try and force our man out.

Aim for a clean sheet at Turf Moor and then rotate the players for the eds mob in the cup, playing game every seven days all season just isn't fair afterall this is manchester united we're taking about.

He’s gone.

Wants his pay off from scruffy Jim, nice pundit job for the World Cup then manage someone like Milan next season
Relax. He's made it clear he's not going to walk, and Scruff can't afford to give him the flick.
Just get some more popcorn and watch them implode - again - between now & May.
