Perrone is doing very well at Como, looks like another one that got away
There’s not much you can do when 3 players in the same position get long term injuries at the same time. Can’t believe this is happening. The one defensive position I thought we were well covered for.
It's football, when everyone's fit (stop laughing at the back) we have at least 3 CB's on the bench and 2 FB's add in a keeper and there's not much room left. Can’t believe this is happening. The one defensive position I thought we were well covered for.
Just checked the records... Michael Oliver refereed on Sunday (Gvardiol out with broken leg) AND City-Arsenal 2-2 when Rodri tore his ACL (and Arsenal had gone hard at him since the very first minute).Another ref allowing the opposition to kick the shit out of us with impunity in the first 20 minutes against Brighton should see our PL challenge in the bin for this season.
Exactly with injuries to rodri Gvardiol kdb was often its a concern. Silva must be a special breed. The issue is Ake & Stones rarely being fit, we has Laporte unable to get a game, now he’d be unable to get a rest.

Obviously, just his style of refereeing :-(
Yes all players are exactly the same, pillock. So all players playing the same amount or more minutes as Gvardiol are on the verge of a broken leg with a jump ?, or coming together?
Severe bout of Influenza I readIs there any news on Aït Nouri? I thought I read he got injured as well?
All people do on this forum is complain about Reijnders not being up to the speed of the PL so I'm not sure what makes you think Perrone would be.Perrone is doing very well at Como, looks like another one that got away
He’s played there for Spain on a few occasions, though I’d cringe at every tackle.Unless Rodri stands in as CB of course
have they flu him home?Severe bout of Influenza I read

Yes he was. He was diving into to Snidey challenges in front of us (East Stand) in first half.Ok mate, but Palmer was still a sly **** throughout the game
Preferably a team that plays in red as well. It's all seems a bit more 'strategic' to me almost like it's a 'plan' to ensure a new name on the trophy every few years?

But we saw ‘rotation’ against Leverkusen… our fringe players are not up to the required levels, certainly not en masseIs lack of rotation playing a part in this? Apart from cup games, we often don’t change the side or our ‘main’ players when fit always start.
5 CBS I get. Stones, Ake, Dias, Khusanov, Gvardiol. But to be fair we knew before the season started that 2 of them were sick notes. Throw in Pep being cautious with Khusa it meant obviously the two who are now injured have been overplayed. There’s not much you can do when 3 players in the same position get long term injuries at the same time.
We’ve got 5 CBs for 2 positions. That’s usually enough.
We’ve got 3 CDMs, and we’ve not had 2 available at the same time very much either.
Lack of rotation is a problem that we’re suffering for, but when we have rotated, we’ve been rubbish. That’s partly recruitment, but partly a new, young team learning to play together.
