They're like liverpool from the '90's.

Constantly harking back to the past, a former manager looming large, former players becoming managers, believing their own PR...

Until they stop thinking they're just one star player or manager from winning the league again and start from the position of being an upper midtable team, and try to get better over a number of seasons, they'll continue to struggle and sack manager after manager.

Making Hodgson the full time manager would make that 90s comparison complete.
 
I am just so glad that when City have a rough patch (as we have had to start 2026) Man United are a totally clown show.

To think they paid OGS £10 million to leave and may now be getting him back is just ridiculous.

And when he fails again, another £10 million!

Unbelievable...
