  • But as far as I'm concerned, the first thing you can do for me is to chuck all your medals and all your caps and all your pots and all your pans into the biggest fucking dustbin you can find, because you'never won any of them fairly. You've done it all by bloody cheating.

Morning Mr Clough

Remember the Swales Out campaign? The utterly demoralising turmoil we went through with that? And the Forward With Frannie stuff? Still relatively fresh in the minds of us FOC's. But now the boot is firmly on the other foot.
Just as those glory-hunting fuckwits from Trafford were so eager to stick the knife in, so we must now return the favour...with interest.

Obviously I can only speak from my neck of the woods, but the old adage 'forewarned is forearmed' is much in evidence around here, because there has been an uncanny dearth of raggies around these parts for the past few years.
At one time it was wall to wall plastics: you couldn't move without bumping into some overweight gimp with a fading rag shirt with the word Beckscum across the back. A fat-faced mummy's boy who had probably never ventured further than Croydon in his lifetime. Round granny-glasses, trying desperately to look like John Lennon - and failing. Peering nervously like a short-sighted owl on a tree branch, fearful in case anyone should enquire as to when did he last go to the swamp and see a game.
You don't see them anymore. They have become an endangered species: the lesser-spotted plastic rag.

Personally, I hope to fuck they go the same way as the dodo.

Strange times. Swales had to go, and we all wanted Franny to succeed. But let's be honest; if not a disaster, his time as chairman was a major disappointment. I guess he just didn't have the finance available to make a success of the gig. Either him personally, or a lack of wealthy backers.

Brilliant piece mate, and so say all of us.

A brilliant piece which echoes what has been happening in my part of Lancashire as well. The Rags have vanished and mostly been replaced by young fans who support their local clubs plus plenty of City and Liverpool. The same is true of central Manchester. I have been in town extensively in the last few weeks and, despite freezing conditions, not seen a single United scarf, hat, or shirt. I kid you not. These are epic times for us Blues.

Remember the Swales Out campaign?

I was at my GP's on Thursday and a guy came in and reported in to the receptionist. His name? Peter Swales ! He sat near me and I had to turn and tell him I was a Blue and ask did he know what his name meant to me. We laughed about it all and as a local he's a Boro fan so he was quite scathing about Steve Gibson their chairman but is realistic enough to know that no rich fucker wants to buy a club that play in a decaying stadium situated on wasteland. He was a good lad.

Gary Neville reckons that Ancellotti should be utds next manager. Can't find any previous link between utd and Ancellotti. So has Neville dumped his mythical DNA theory?
Ancellotti's getting on a bit ; 20m quid for 18 months work would fatten up his retirement nest egg nicely.

Loving the fact united and it's fans want to listen to Gary Neville's suggestions on what manager goes to old Trafford.....
And I also love Keane was the only one to identify fergie still runs the show at old Trafford

The rags last chance of a trophy begins today.
Can see the 'chunksta' Simon Hooper being pivotal in their quest this evening.
Call it a gut feeling

Amad an Mbeumo now back for next week is a bit of a shitter. Mainly the latter.
That Amad was awful last night, walking about, giving the ball away.
Hopefully Mbeumo fills his boots at McDonalds over the next couple of days

More ragcafe delusion
This is about pep

“Good coach, but never had the tests that coaches like Mourinho and Sir Alex had - winning trophies with underdog teams, so he'll never be ranked at the same level as them.”

By 'underdogs' I'm assuming scarcely any money spent? The rags and the chavs, never spent any money?

FFS! That is delusion on a monumental scale.
