Fucking buzzing with that. What an away performance from them all. Get the fuck in.

Haha, I was initially fuming myself. I don't agree that it should be disallowed, just don't think it was incorrect according to the rules. If the defender was in fact their keeper, I don't think there would be the same debate.
I posted the rule from Google and it's pish. Arsenal will be fucked if they implement it evenly.

Justice done with that 2nd goal but fuck me, we're public enemy number one now with decisions going against us bizarre or non bizarre. That's right up there with the worst ever today, lines were level so they absolutely made some shit up about Erling fouling Thiaw when it was 50/50. Var had no idea what to do so Kavanagh was always going to shit himself and made sure he was the star of the show by disallowing it and making 50'000 geordie friends. ****!

On to the game and huge shout outs to Khusanov and Semenyo, Khus was brilliant barely put a foot wrong and Semenyo will be a star with more training sessions behind him and should've been coming away with two goals tonight. Big concerns over Foden and Haaland though, going through a real shit patch with performances. Great result tonight but 3-0 sees the tie over, cheated!

Tough game and Newcastle were pretty physical. First half was a bit nervous from both teams but City stepped up second half.
Newcastle had their moments but I think City edged it overall.

Bernado ran his socks off. Semenyo exciting. Erl was ineffective. Rodri really does make a difference.
Doku frustrates me but he outs fear into the opposition and helps draw extra defenders to him.

We still shouldn't rest on our laurels. 2 goal cushion is great but not a guarantee.

The VAR really felt like a concentrated effort to rule offside. If it isnt clear after 30 seconds then its not clear at all.
Actually thought we lost quite a lot of control when he took Doku off. Not complaining at all, but we got away with it a bit, fantastic save from Trafford and with better finishing they could have drawn level at least.

I do worry when we make late changes, we never used to and we would see out games, but in the past year or so we're making those changes and conceding a lot of late goals. I know it's needs must to a point but I'd rather keep the same players on when we're ahead like we used to, then rest them for the "lighter" games".

I’ve not read back. So, sorry if the point has been made already about the “offside” goal.
I just hope the every goal scored from a corner gets dissected in exactly the same way, especially with the amount of shithousery that goes along with all Arse’s set piece “masterpieces”. I won’t hold my breath whilst I hope though.

He's not wrong. To be onside you have to be behind 2 players. Doesnt matter what 2 players. He was only behind or in line with 1 the defender. So next decision is he interfering with play, if he is goal is disallowed. As he is holding the defender then goal is correctly disallowed.

He is wrong with what he said then, or rather how he phrased it. But take your point on the overall situation.

Bench Haaland?
Against the scum?
Nah fuck that for a game of soldiers.
He’s struggling, but the best way for him to get back to form is to play through it.
He’s not a midfielder where we’ve got options.
Play him back into form.
