Nunes is clearly doing very well and is much improved in the role , but going from " fucking useless, get rid " to " one of the best right backs in the world" is BM at its very best !

I don't think so. We are still far from the flowing football that set us apart from anyone else years ago. We have wobbled for a few seasons. Liverpool have wobbled this season. United are beyond wobbled and banjaxed. Arsenal have progressed hugely in the meantime.

I think what sets us apart is a great football foundation, a great reputation in terms of player support from within the club and a relaxed approach to the limelight. Basically if you want stardom then go to a media favoured club but if you want to concentrate on football then we are probably the best out there these days.

Its a squad issue really. Nunes is a right back but we don't really have a back up. Or someone to push him for the position.

UEFA rules:
"Article 32: Subsequent registration (A list only - B list can change midnight pre matchday)
32.01
After the completion of the league phase and before the start of the knockout
phase, a club may register a maximum of three new eligible players for the
remaining matches in the current competition. Such registrations must be
completed by 5 February 2026 (24:00 CET) at the latest."

Now we have 4 AT: Stones, Aké, Bettinelli, Semenyo. (We could replace Stones, but we don't really know when he might be back from his bloody injury/problem).

It's more probable we leave out Josko (Kova might be back earlier),
or Ortega leaves this month and Guehi goes to the 17 free spots. Would be my guess.

We defo don't have any problem squad wise.
