I completely agree with him. Villa should be allowed to spend what they want, every team should but they were one of the clubs who sided with the red cartel so it’s their own fault.

They voted for the new rules along with the red cartel so they've only got themselves to blame

Honestly I just didn't think it was happening but he was my preferred signing.

Can play LB, LCB, RCB and RB because of his 2 footedness.

He isnt a perfect player, I think ground duels and aerial duels is a slight weakness.

But he is english, good PL experience, has excellent passing in build up and filling multiple positions is better for us than a player like Schlotterbeck who I think is a better pure LCB, but that's the only position he can play.

If/when he does arrive he could probably do with being eased in a bit.

We're talking a lot about Haaland, Foden, Nico (both) being tired and overplayed, needing a rest etc. and he's played 500 (that's a lot!) more minutes than any of them.

Add that to adapting to a new system, moving and all the other stuff new signings have to work through.

Would imagine he’ll feature against Wolverhampton Wanderers, but otherwise he’ll have the rest of the month off until we travel to Spurs.

The fans didn't vote for it and neither did the current ownership.

Would be pretty shitty if we were forever held to something because Swales voted for it.
Are you sure ,the current owners have been in situ from circa 2018

He wrote an anti-LGBTQ (or Pro-Christian - or that's how they tried to skew it) message on his rainbow armband and his father confirmed he had quite firm beliefs against the gay community due to his religious views.

I <3 Jesus is anti LBGTQ? Jesus literally taught to love everyone.

With everything that's going on in the world, we don't need to worry about someone writing that on their armband

Brilliant player, but I'm a little conflicted given how good Khusa and the young lad have looked the last few weeks. Guess that's my heart commanding my head.

I imagine Ake and Stones will be gone in the summer. Still think Livramento will be a target also.

Dias, Josko, Guehi, Khusa, Alleyne, Nico, Nunes, Ait Nouri; that's an exceptional mix of youth and experience to rotate through the backline.

This is a great move for the player and us, and Palace at least get something when the guy wouldve walked in 5 months for nowt. Such a pity he cant play tomorrow tbh but he will augment the CL squad in the knockout stages, and allow us again to rotate the squad between league and Cup games as I assume hes ineligible for the FA Cup and League Cup.

Its a sensible long term signing as well; an England international with his prime years ahead and covers the summer when Stones and Nathan Ake head elsewhere, and Josko may still be edging his way back.
