So far I'm liking how Viana operates. I'm not a huge believer in Guehi but he's a stable player and PL proven. We have and will have a need in the squad for a centerback (Ake and Stones both HG and likely out after the season plus injuries to Ruben and Josko currently). For 20M getting an international level player at the proper age is good business.

Guéhi will obviously count as HG, as will Max, but as he’s under 21, it doesn’t matter with him.

I agree here. I like him as a player but with his armband antics I don’t like him as a human. Homophobia has no place in football and as a club we should take this into account when looking at players. Dippers don’t care but we should as plenty of blues know how we have been discriminated against just because our owners are brown. But I also do believe in giving someone another chance and hopefully we as a club educate him.

We had two spaces at the start of the window (excluding Ortega and Phillips). Now we have none.

What will be will be, once people leave, but that's a next season discussion.
