Homophobia. Give over. This is the exact reason football players should not be used as political pawns. Guehi is very religious man. To be put in that position wasn’t fair.

Whether you agree or not with his stance it doesn’t matter. There are many many Muslim players, Christian players etc who will share that belief. My point is football should not be used to promote any subject that isn’t related to the game.

And for the record I have no issue with gay people but I respect Guehi’s stance. Doesn’t mean I agree with it. And just looking into it further he promoted a message saying Jesus loves you. How is that homophobia ffs?
People are entitled to opinion and maybe its your wording - how can you have no issue but resepect his stance. If i am correct (and happy to be proven wrong). He is homophobic. In very simple terms - he believes people that are gay should either not exist / are substandard - or at the very least an abomination to God etc. How can you respect someone with such ludicrous stupid views such as that? Hiding behind some bloke sitting on a fluffy cloud who is quite happy to give 2 year olds cancer and quite happy to create the odd big wave that kills thousands or maybe the odd plague - but draws the line at two blokes kissing. Yep - he sounds realistic.
When you are a footballer - you are correct - they shouldnt be used as political pawns - but 1) they are because peope ludicrously put footballers on a pedestal and 2) every time he opens his mouth he is by default becoming a political pawn

Brilliant player, but I'm a little conflicted given how good Khusa and the young lad have looked the last few weeks. Guess that's my heart commanding my head.

I imagine Ake and Stones will be gone in the summer. Still think Livramento will be a target also.

Dias, Josko, Guehi, Khusa, Alleyne, Nico, Nunes, Ait Nouri; that's an exceptional mix of youth and experience to rotate through the backline.
Forget Livramento hes another John Stones, always injured.

I completely agree with him. Villa should be allowed to spend what they want, every team should. but they were one of the many clubs who sided with the red cartel and wanted these rules so it’s their own fault.
I thought Villa were in the championship at the time of the ffp vote

That's not what he's said at all. Stop putting words in people's mouths.

He wrote 'I <3 Jesus' - Jesus taught to love everyone. But that doesn't suit your narrative. If he refused to wear the armband, like the Muslim lad at Ipswich, I could understand it. But again, that doesn't suit the narrative.

Time to grow up mate

Well it is about time that Jesus showed us a bit of love after we plucked him out of the obscurity of Palmeiras, but he has done nothing but whine about how we made him cry.

I've just spent an hour on rawk - wallowing in the fuming

Mixture of City hate - hate for Richard Hughes - increasing hate for the player, including posts to say he's not that good anyway

A growing narrative of - we are lucky - if he chooses City now rather than us i(a proper club) n 5 months - then he is not the sort of person we want

I fucking love their entitled shite
No, of course they don't want him. They only want players of good character and with a great track record for causing no trouble....................... like Alexander Isak!!!!
