Honestly, one of the worst 45 mins of football in recent memory. Lucky not to be a couple of goals down.

The defence is no secret. Ake is past it, Khusa and Alleyne are both young and nervous. Rico isnt the level required.

Midfield seem to have taken a day off, but my main gripe is with our attackers. Especially Foden and Haaland. The latter needs a break, and its clear to see.

We look toothless in every aspect of our game. Do our players wear heavier boots than other teams? They all look like they are running in treacle.

Also, I thought Semenyo was pacey. He looks really slow

Adding our entire first choice back four would make a huge difference here. The defence doesn’t just keep them out, it starts attacks and retains the ball.

even adding 2/3 of Gvardiol, Dias, Nunes and O’Reilly would massively improve things.

The Foden & Bernardo midfield is horrific. Zero impact in attack. Foden’s done nothing - not even one decent moment. No creativity whatsoever. Get Cherki on ASAP.

This has been shite from the off.
We knew they'd be up for it but we just haven't matched them.

Pep needs to put Doku on the right or get him off.
This stopping, cutting back onto his right is so predictible it's fooling no one now.

We need to get Semenyo into the game so put him on the left.

Lewis needs to be subbed, he's shite defensively and just gets in the way when he goes forward.

Move the rest of the defence over and put Nico O on.

I'd take Foden off too and put on Cherki.

Both full backs on a yellow, and absolutely no attempt to run at them. Makes sense.

Nonsense, must be coming form Pep as cannot imagine this makes sense otherwise. a run-dribble vs either Shaw or Dalot and they may make a tackle that costs them another and instead of that we make sure even Doku is passing back to Ake or inside to Rodri deeper.

Move Ake to centre back and get O'Reilly on at left back, Ake hasn't got the legs to play that position anymore, he got lucky too nearly playing that Rat onside.

Phil Foden needs a long hard look at himself, nothing short of disgraceful in that first half, Get Cherki on. We need more from Haaland too.

Very half arsed performance from alot of players out there today. Wake the fuck up City.
