We don't really have a midfield so Fernades just gets the ball under no pressure and plays it long to three runners, it's too easy.

Cannot really see things letting up in the second half. Players need a rocket up their ass.

We started off poorly with giving the ball away, sloppy passes, not controlling the ball.

Nearly done by our own mistakes. Their tactics are as most thought and those tackles were lucky not to see red. Lucky old Gary is there to tell us that they were just a touch.

Stop the errors, move it around a little faster and start getting the ball in the box to give somebody a chance. At the moment we’re giving them the impetus, we need to take it to them in the second.

You’d still need Cherki or Foden to play on the touchline though. Khusanov isn’t going to be holding any width like Nunes.

Semenyo is a striker so he could go up top he started off as a striker. If Haaland is exhausted

Good news is we cannot be as bad in the second and Pep has to bring on Cherki for Foden at the break - you can see the forward players not even making runs without a creative number 10 on.

I'd bring on Nico for Ake and Cherki for Foden and take the game to them - All we've done with this lineup is give them confidence they can get something. The system is all wrong, Semenyo and Erling look isolated.

Doubling up on Doku, and that dreadful early foul, has done its job. It should create the extra man, and that man is Phil, but he does not look sharp and needs to be.
I suspect we will be quicker in the second half, and should be, but I don't think it will be long before Cherki comes on - his flair is needed against this low block - and I would bring on Nico too for the extra athleticism he offers. He may be held back as the Rodri replacement.

I cannot see how Dalot stays on the pitch. If this is not at Old Trafford, he's gone.
