Foden should be a lot more involved. He should link midfield and attack. The link was weak in the first half.

Our players get up so quickly that it gives the impression nothing happened. If it had been an Arsenal player or someone from another club, he would have stayed for at least five minutes and limped off the pitch. Our players are too nice and lack guile. There's an indisputable red card.

The Foden & Bernardo midfield is horrific. Zero impact in attack. Foden’s done nothing - not even one decent moment. No creativity whatsoever. Get Cherki on ASAP.

Not the best half really.

We are finding it hard to play forward from the back and not looking too solid defensively. Plenty of the ball but struggling to create anything worthwhile. We need to try and get Foden, Semenyo and Haaland on the ball a bit more. Doku has seen plenty of it but has usually been up against 2 or 3 and consequently hasn't been able to create anything. I'm not sure Lewis inverting into midfield has added much to our game either.

Our play is crying out for Cherki. Someone who can make things happen. Reijnders usually makes good runs into dangerous positions and that could be useful.

Bring Cherki on, cut out the sloppy play and we should win this.

The lineup and strategy is leaving both our wingers isolated and with too much to do. Really castrating ourselves in attack without any real benefit in defence
