Even Pep now has to realise Rico Lewis isn't a right back.
I feel so sorry for the lad. Doing his best in a position that he cannot play.

Ake is playing with an injury. He gets all my thanks. But age has caught up with him even without injuries.

Bigger story is Foden and Haaland...WTF?
 
Donnarumma and Khusanov are the only players who can come out with any sort of credit after that shite. Pep will still find a way to bench Khusnaov and possibly continue with Ake.

The "so so good" days are over, that today is completely unacceptable, no passion, no fight, we showed nothing. Embarrassing display in a Derby game.

The writing has been on the wall for weeks and this has been coming, unfortunately it had to happen against these bastards.

Pep time is up at the club, it's not getting any better than last season, if anything we are even more gutless.

Some of our so called more experienced players really need to hang their heads in shame after that

Haaland, Foden, Rodri, Ake, Bernardo all absolutely terrible, and then what chance have the kids or new players got?

Fuck the league that's irrelevant, we're still capable of throwing in shit shows like that all too regularly these days
 
The simple reality is that the style of football is off, slow turgid predictable crap, fat Sam would do a better job he would never put up with this shit -time for a change

No fight, no urgency when we went behind.
From minute one, they wanted it more. Fair play to Carrick and the rags. They outclassed us all over the pitch.

For us, you’ve got to pick yourselves up and go again. Guehi will make us stronger at the back.

Spineless and cowardly. Favourites picked over form. Favourites kept on. No reason Ake should’ve stayed on
 
Very poor performance, especially defence and midfield. Donnarumma by far our best player. Rodri looks quite some way off his best. I think we just ran out of energy today.

Let's hope Nunes is back soon and that Guehi signs because Ake and Lewis really weaken us at the back. How Lewis saw out the full game is a mystery. Having said that we had our better attacking players available and they created very little.
 
2-0 flattered us. Biggest shitbag performance of the season. That’s the biggest hiding we’ve had since Villa absolutely dominated us but only won 1-0 in December 2023.

Early leaving Viagogo cunts in our away end to top it off n’all.

He shouldn’t be in the team for these types of games. I think he has a place in the squad tbh not at right back though
 
as I see it 2 mistakes cost us the game, at the best we could have got a draw we where out played and would never had won. But Cherkis free kick that gave them a counter to 1-0 what was that?? KDB would never have made that free kick like that, he would have gone for goal. And Lewis never ever play him left defender again. That sloppy defending at there 2-0 was dreadfully.

Big D without him it would had been 5-0
 
Absolutely embarrassing. At about 70 minutes, I was thinking the only players to come out of that with any credit were Donnarumma and Khusanov. By 90 minutes, it's only Donnarumma. You could forgive the 2nd and 3rd disallowed goals if we were throwing everything at them and got caught on the break, but we were literally creating nothing ourselves.
