World Cup 2026

Bearing in mind he has banned support from entire countries, threatened every other supporter they will not get in if they have written tweets that upset his very thin skin, why is any country going ?

So if FIFA takes 15% from the seller and 15% from the buyer, unless they add 15% to the cost, surely essentially the seller loses 30% on the selling price.

We should be boycotting this fucking shit show.
100%.

Why would anyone want to go to anything organised by fifa? Absolute shit show of an organisation. Embarrassing.

And why go to America. Should be on everyone's boycott list until Trump is gone and normality returns.

I usually love the WC but not arsed at all about this one.

Ah, TDS again.

As for FIFA being corrupt, well it's fucking all new is it.

Well I don’t agree….

I’ve had tickets for a little while now and I ain’t getting a refund….the US is a great country, one mad, orange fucker won’t ruin it for me.

Edit: I went to France for the 2016 Euros and while in Marseille on the piss, groups of Russian fans were running amok ……we sent one of my mates into a bar to get the beers in and by the time he got served and came out, riot police had moved in and there was smoke granades/tear gas all over the place……but he came out clutching a couple of jug of beer……..have pictures of this with the riot police in the background…….its what football tournaments are for !!!!

Fans from four countries are banned from traveling, so their games should be moved to Mexico or Canada. However, what does that mean in the latter rounds, if they advance? No fans, other than locals…all of which will be digitally searched to ensure they are legal to be there!

Just stay home…

I don’t really buy this argument at all.

If safety is the concern, Mexico has a significantly higher violent crime rate than the United States, yet it’s being suggested as a better alternative. That doesn’t add up.

And if the issue is human rights, recent World Cups have been held in countries with far worse records, Qatar, Russia and Brazil all faced heavy international criticism at the time.

Hosting a World Cup has never meant the host country is perfect. It’s always been about infrastructure and the ability to stage the tournament, not about morals.

I loved the Clun World Cup last summer, the Americans were lovely and welcoming. Didn’t see any trouble at all.

We didn’t boycott Qatar and their record is far worse, they had fucking slave labour dying building the stadiums. It’s still a shame all this political shit is putting a downer on it, on paper it should be a cracking tournament but with FIFA fleecing the fans on ticket prices, and Trump acting a colossal bellend, it’s looking a bit bleak.
