Thats exactly the team i'd play unless Nico G is fit. Haaland needs leaving out, so does Foden. We need some help and protection in the middle for Rodri and hopefully Guehi brings some stability and experience in the back 4.Donnarumma
Nunes
Guehi
Khusanov
Ait-Nouri
Rodri
O'Reilly
Bernardo
Cherki
Semenyo
Marmoush
He needs to tell haaland to attack crosses too? He consistently stands waiting for it or goes back post. The back post header is best when the player is running on to the ball and can float it without a packed defense. Every other cross haaland needs to be prepared to attack but he doesn't.We need a reaction in this game. Just need to get back to winning ways.
Not going to slate the manager, but he does need to have a wee look at things and listen to us on here a bit more...
Would like to see Nunes back and Ait Nouri at left full back to give him a few games to see how he gets on - or do we go with O'Reilly in there?
The midfield needs to show up and Pep needs to allow our wingers to get balls into the box. This getting the ball out wide then coming back inside is absolutely killing us. One of the best strikers in the world and we're putting nothing in there.
And for the love of fucking God, can someone just practice taking a fucking corner.
They have improved. They beat West Ham, and drew with Utd, Everton and Newcastle recently. They are better organised now and they've got a young player Mané who is causing problems. Strand Larsen might want to play against Haaland. I think we will win though if we get back a few players.Understand why confidence is low after the last two games, but come on it's Wolves at home. They'll be organised and tough to break down, but you have to fancy us to get the three points. Hopefully see a few changes to the starting XI to freshen things up. I'd rest Foden and Haaland for this one.
Donnarumma
Nunes
Khusanov
Guehi
Ait-Nouri
Rodri
Gonzalez/Bernardo
Cherki
Doku
Semenyo
Marmoush
------------Donnarumma
Nunes--Khusanov--Guehi--O'Reilly
------------Rodri--Bernardo
----------------Cherki
----Semenyo--Haaland--Doku
Assuming Nunes and Doku are fit.
There is an argument to rest Haaland but I'd play him in the hope that he scores. I think that would be more valuable to him than the rest. Marmoush has not had many games with the side so I am not sure that it is a good call.
Any chance you can deliver the team-talk on Saturday please?I like that line up.
Come on lads, it’s Wolves! At home. Just get it bloody won and Erling scoring again. This is the game where we vent our recent frustrations.
We will destroy these so much then Haaland will shag all their wives after the game and steal their crates of beer. We’re fucking smashing these.
I don't think we need 2 DM's against Wolves. I'd rest Rodri and play O'Reilly there. If he doesn’t play 2 dms then he’s learned Fook all & we will be in a mess
We needed it last night against a team far worse than Wolves...I don't think we need 2 DM's against Wolves. I'd rest Rodri and play O'Reilly there.
True. But i think we'll beat Wolves convincingly. We needed it last night against a team far worse than Wolves...
True. But i think we'll beat Wolves convincingly.
Hallam's PL debut, aged 33.Interesting, a championship referee is in charge. Farai Hallam
Though see he is being trained by PGMOL as he refused Barnsley a blatant penalty v the Dippers in the cup the other week.
