Hoping that Gonzalez is fit so Rodri can rest. I appreciate we have injuries and it’s a credit to him that he wants to help, but it’s obvious that he’s not up to it yet. In an ideal world he would be eased back.
I also hope that Ake is fit too and Alleyne can sit out. He may have a future with us but it’s too much for him right now.

Funny one this, I remember about a month ago looking at this fixture and thinking I can't wait, Saturday, 3pm, bottom of the table, almost guaranteed 4/5/6-0.

Fast forward a month and I wouldn't say I'm dreading it, but If we can get out of the game with 3 points and no injuries I'll be over the moon.
Ditto.

Christmas and New year really has taken away all the desire for me to watch us ( it's a temporary thing, lots on health wise at home); I like my footy to be a distraction but I'm getting far too annoyed and frustrated at these toothless performances. I don't know if it is the players, the stupid highline system, the injuries, unfair officiating or Peps stubbornness or a combination of all of these factors. I just know I'm not looking forward to Saturday or Galatasaray next week.

With a very depleted squad the last thing we need in an already intense February is two extra games. The so called 'random PL fixture generator ' really did a job on us with difficult aways at Christmas and similar in February, when they took a punt that we would be involved in gruelling CL play off games.

And I'm also peed off that Arse and Spuds have had far easier CL league games, not to mention kinder PL February fixtures. That Spurs, the actual Spursy are above us in that CL table beggars belief and infuriates me. And as for Gabby J scoring twice last night....

We were stupid letting Alvarez go, our replacements simply aren't good enough.

Guehi replaces Alleyne. Khusanov is pretty young and can play every 3-4 days.

If O'Reilly is tired, then Ake may play at LB, but it might be better to play RAN there.

It sounds like the players are remorseful about last night’s performance and I think we’re gonna see an improved display from the team. Have a feeling Haaland will get a hat trick.

In fairness we couldn't really see a worse performance than the last two games.... well i hope not!

Agree re RAN. He had a shocking game last night but he is not a RB. I look forward to seeing him in his correct position.
Likewise, Khusanov was poor too last night, but as highlighted by others, he was not helped by what was in front of him. That said, I would prefer to see Guehi and Ake together.

Not a RB you mean

Hopefully but they played out some impressive results recently. 2–1 narrow losses at Emirates and Anfield + draw at Old Trafford. Will be a challenging game.
2-1 at Anfield is not particularly impressive when you consider Forest won 3-0 and Burnley drew 1-1.

Well if the last two non-performances do not motivate these players then we are well and truly f*cked , expect an high press and hungry response and take Wolves to the cleaners , nothing less is acceptable on Saturday

Nunes Khusanov Guehi Oreilly
Bernardo Rodri (Nico)
Semenyo Cherki Doku

Haaland and foden can look on.

Realistically, I think Pep will play Guehi and Ake at CB and drop Khusanov. Also he'll definitely play Haaland

Agree , would rest Haaland and Foden they both appear either disinterested or knackered , need more pace and enthusiasm and the team you have picked , has it.

The reactionism here is beyond even normal Bluemoon standards. A week ago, we beat Newcastle and we were the greatest thing since sliced bread, chasing Arsenal down, terrifying front 3, set fair with a young defence, Rodri back to his best and showing what we missed with Nico in CDM, etc etc. Now 2 games on, we are worse than a non-league team and going to get pummelled by a team that could end up as the worst PL outfit ever.

Reality is we lost our 2 best defenders (1 of whom is one of our best attackers also!); our Ballon d'Or winner has just come back after virtually 15 months out including an injury relapse, had to draft in a kid who has never seen the PL before longside a rookie CB; and were missing our best RB in both games and our captain yesterday. 2 very sub-standard performances, but nobody will be hurting more than the players. And we have not become garbage overnight (nor is this team world-beaters yet). So let's have some perspective and get behind the boys. There is a huge amount to play for this season.

My team too, I’d play Nico G over Rodri if fit and that exact line up. But has you say, he’ll play Ake and will probably start Haaland again.
