Would like to see Ait Nouri in his natural position being told to play his natural attacking game and also Semenyo on the left rather than the right.

Give certain players - Haaland - a rest and make sure certain other players - Foden, Lewis, Reijnders - aren't rewarded for Tuesday's shambles with another starting place 4 days later. Yes, I know Haaland could fall into the latter category too.

I think with how many players are out that we now know, I'd do a 4231 with RAN at LB bombing forward.

I also think Alleyne should probably get a rest, physically and mentally, as well as Ake (who is playing through pain injections).

Rodri is making silly mistakes as a lone 6, play him as a false CB so we have someone close to Donna as a pass master.

I would have rotated Haaland, but his recent comments make it sounds like he WANTS to play, but if not, I'd do Marmoush and Semenyo, one tucks into LS from LW position as RAN holds width.

We primarily build on the left, where Cherki as a false winger goes into midfield to find spaces.

This leaves us better off if we get countered, because most likely they will launch to our right side with Cherki out of position, but Khus is there for the 1v1.

Edit: I might do Foden instead of Doku, but pretty interchangeable to me.

That's the team. I'd be alright trusting Alleyne but understand Ake.

We need legs in midfield - those that can actually get back when we will be counter-attacked. Bernardo and Rodri surely isn’t the answer?

need the energy and hunger of Nunes , Khusanov , Guehi , O'Reilly , Cherki , Semenyo , Art Nouri in the team , this is presuming Gonzalez is not fit (he would be in for O'Reilly) but also hoping Nunes is over his man-flu. All the aforementioned players have joined / emerged over the last 12/18months so we need to see some progress , enough of this tiredness shite.
We also have a decent bench including Doku,Marmoush.Foden,Reijnders and Ake , if we get a few goals on the board we can rotate for the big game against Galatasary
We should be taking a bottom of the league team to the cleaners , Ok they have had a mini revival , but if we cant win convincingly on Saturday then the issues run a lot deeper

Haaland will play I'm more than certain of it. Plus he's been apologising after the teams dire performance and he's also a Captain he needs to now show he truly is sorry for recent performances.

Hopefully he plays and gets a hatrick :-)

Tomorrow is not just a game we need to win it is a must have a good performance game. What I mean by this is that with the two recent games being so bad and so bereft of effort that any performance against bottom of the league that doesn’t show quality, fight, urgency, a desire to dominate the game is not acceptable.

it was bad enough after the absolute embarrassment of the derby to go out and do the same thing against bodo that if they put in another poor display, even if it ends in a scrappy win, is not good enough and questions should be asked about what is going on. Their own personal pride should stop them from putting in a third performance as bad as the previous two. What if it goes tits up tomorrow are they gonna refund the entire stadium?!

Rico Lewis shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up.

Has to be Khusanov at right back. Play Ake and Guehi at centre back.

For me, that is a big statement made by Pep in the pre-match interview and it sort of was quickly passed on to something else ? Maybe the 10.30 embargo somebody will pull him on what the problem is and can it be solved or does it need a change of system or player rotation ?

It sounds like he needs to change something or somebody or more than one player so tomorrow the starting lineup will show the problem

Well lots & lots of different starting lineups here..
Maybe to be expected with recent performances and results plus the players injured and the new signings too. I could probably pick x3 lineups & still get nowhere near Peps starting x11 let alone where those selected are actually playing on the pitch....Certainly not many Fans are going to be completely happy once actual team announced.

Regardless of selection I hope coaching team have decided prior to KO how we are set up defensively for any of our attacking set pieces so we don't concede immediately after... Not rocket science I know but seems to have not been a priority? No, I dont have any coaching badges but maybe players with a little height?players with a bit of pace and players without previous of being easily bundled off the ball and finally players who don't like to allow a cleared high ball 10 yards inside our own half to bounce first?
Secondly, regardless who are selected wide defensive, can coaches drill into them that
they need to be more focused on play and that we may actually need these players to be in relatively close proximity to the attacking player
at the far post when opposition is marauding
towards our goal..

We are conceding goals but conceding too many chances too. Maybe if we can cut out the easily
given up chances it would be a starting point.....

Going to be much harder than league positions suggest this game. We just have to come out all guns blazing; quick tempo and Wolves will struggle to handle us. If we don't and we do the usual slow sideways, backwards passing, not shooting when given a sighter it will play into Wolves's hands and they will grow in confidence

Lots of teams showing Ait Nouri.

It's like a year ago with Nunes when he had shown nothing and was calamity.

He came ok eventually but it took a long time.

Do we have the time at present? Admittedly our options are limited but if he plays it has to be in his natural position.

A hugely disappointing signing so far regardless of the reasons why he has not played.

Not sure Pep trusts Marmoush one bit. He'd much rather run Erling into the ground than give Marmoush a full start
