Match Result Prediction?

As last year, we lost nearly all of our back line, at one fell swoop: Josko, Ruben, Matheus. Oh and, just for good measure, our defensive midfielder Nico G, who was doing a highly creditable job up to then (better, in fact, than Rod since he's come back, dare I say?) No team would not have a wobble.
Imagine this one: Arsenal lose Gabriel and Saliba in the same match — out for weeks and weeks — and, just for good measure, Rice. Does anybody really think they'd steam on as if nothing had happened?
 
For me, we should be picking a formation based on the available players. Sticking with four at the back whilst Stones, Dias,and Gvardiol are out doesn’t make sense.

If we swapped to 3 (Khusanov, Guehi, Ake) and played two wingbacks (NOR and assuming Nunes is out, RAN, or Lewis).

That would give Rodri more cover in the middle.

Then you can let Reijnders or Foden have the free role with Doku, Semenyo and Haaland ahead. That team should be more than capable of creating chances vs Wolves, while being solid enough to start keeping clean sheets again.

problem is our wing backs in RAN and Lewis are shit defenesively....they dont give the help to Rodri that he needs using this.....if its NOR and Nunes he gets the help.

I'm sure you're right - but I bet they'd adapt tactics accordingly, as would any other coach in the league...

Haaland plays at least fist 45 mins if not hour(score dep.), hopefully training the Moosh back for some early second half action- probably should add IMO :)

Edit - I can't moan too much about the line-up. I see what it does, no real passengers. Bernard's the legs for Rodders in the engine. Both our flanks are dangerous offensively. Paper football isn't grass football.

Hope the new lad settles in with the confidence of the last few.

Win? Must be.
Haaland and Bernard to notch by half time. We stride on to a 2-1 victory? :)

5 minutes ago was watching on the firestick. 5 minutes later I'm going. Son on member scheme already had tickets asked if I fancy going so got one this morning for £37.25 in the next block. Taking my 5 yr old grandson who is City daft. Went to the Exeter game with him and he was buzzing. 1-0 or 2-1 will do though!

Probably this it be with Silva back maybe Doku not fully fit like midweek and won’t play. Right back is a big problem for me and Nouri will have to play there if a back four! O’Reily to help Rodri out Silva dropping into midfield to! What I don’t want to see in Guehi first game is him being put in the right centre back position! Yes he can do that but new to our team better playing him where he has being playing for palace.. I’d rest Haaland just that pep won’t for me!

I don’t think it’s very reliable. Either way id expect a fair few changes today. Other than Don, Khusanov, Guehi, Rodri, Bernardo, Semenyo every other position is up for doubt imo.

Would be more likely to be NOR in midfield and just Lewis at right-back imo.
