Half a chance of that lad being able to get his haircut in a few weeks

Do you honestly think we are good enough to win the league ? Not looking for an argument, I don't and was hoping the scum were going to get battered.

Arsenal must be starting to doubt themselves with one or two of their recent results, and both City and Villa are only four points behind them .... we need to win our next league game, at Spurs, and keep the pressure on.

Could the Rags now mount a late but serious title challenge under Carrick, with just one game a week until the end of the season?

8 points behind City and Villa, and 12 points behind Arsenal.

I doubt it, because I think at least one of the top three will maintain their own title charge, but the rags could well get top four.

So this group of Rag players have just beaten 2nd and 1st in the league, both convincingly - they have clearly had these performances in them all season.
One manager out and a new inexperienced interim in to replace him, same group of players. All points towards said group of players playing within themselves all season so far, in an effort to get Amorim sacked.
If I was a rag fan (thank god and my dad that I’m not) I’d be fuming with this lot. Pathetic attitude from them.

PS they’re still shit. Wheels will fall off when they give Carrick the job full time in the summer.

Simple - just appoint a new interim every 5 games. They'll win the lot!

They will be absolutely desperate to make the top 4 with all the financial benefits it will bring. They have nothing else to play for and it's looking like Carrick is getting the best from them. They did actually deserve to win today much as it pains me to say it. Arse dropping 3 points is a real boost.

They are playing a different system, and it's a bit of the new manager bounce that teams get.

Let's see in a few weeks when the other teams have sussed out how they are playing and the new manager bounce has disappeared.

classic 'Ole at the wheel' where he seems like Pep Guardiola at first and wins random games, after a time they plummet at start over agai
At least they done something useful for us, shame we didn't win against them
