Manchester City's Quad Hunt is Still In the Mix And Shaping Up Nicely

Despite extensive injuries that no other team could cope with and very iffy officiating while not yet hitting peak form Manchester City are still in the face for all four trophies, with the additions over January BBC Sport looks at how they could pull this off with the guile of the best manager in the country.

You got me.

BBC…… “How ‘Premier League’ Galatasaray can derail Man City”

Just fuck right off, how many other English teams get this sort of reporting?

First thing I saw on that website this morning, absolute fucking bullshit from the bbc yet again.

Would they write articles about how foreign sides can beat other English clubs? Would they fuck. Such a clear bias it’s like a rag fanzine. Fucking set of paedo-hiding cunts.

Morning.
Don't be surprised by any negative articles anymore. We are in the title race, we are still going for 4 trophies . The term journalism died a long time ago. Negative stories about us generate income, clicks etc. City are and always will be in the firing line because we are successful. Embrace it, once you do you will not let it bother you. Remember who their target audience are? Red top supporters.
It just feeds the myth about us as a club.
A smear campaign which our club seems to accept.

I get that, the media hates success - but why was it when their favourite red clubs were successful, we didn’t get articles on how Galatasaray can beat Man Utd, for example?

David Coote did, remember the one pygmol sacked. He gave an opinion on klippety that some people called, precise and on the button.

Turns out he was a nonce though.

I prefer Halsey coming out and telling the world that refs were told how many free kicks, corners etc to award in games. He was silenced pretty quickly.

Former bent ref piles in on Pep
Wtaf?

"He came up behind me. I felt his firm body pressed against mine, followed swiftly by his arms holding me tight before lifting me off the ground, causing my heart to skip a beat. He then whispered in my ear…
No, not the start of my next trashy romance novel, but exactly my experience at Brighton in May 2021 as the fourth official, when Pep Guardiola decided to take our relationship to a more physical level."

He then says, three out of four VAR interventions have gone in City's favour this season, not mentioning the scores of decisions where VAR didn't even intervene. You can imagine how bad those three pn-field decisions must have been if VAR actually did something about them. This selective use of statistics as "proof" is just so simplistic.

And then he says he thought it should have been a penalty but good on the ref for going against advice and getting wrong. Just what is going on?

He should stick to bad refereeing and stop writing bad articles.

I can't even bring myself to post the archived article because it's so dreadful.

They are also removing any comments that are questioning their independence or impartiality too, disgraceful!

Send complaints to the BBC they are in breach of their charter to report with independence and impartiality

The BBC seem to be having a rally with Sly Sports, as their headline leading upto last weekend's games was of similar ilk, proclaiming 'how Wolves can shock Man City'.
Tedious media shit about us from first day to last of a Premier league season, every year.

more bullshit about our club. This is written for utd and Liverpool fans.

I don't know any other PL club that constantly gets reported on this way
This kind of bollocks gets you ready for the TNT crew - lets take a quick look at them and the thought of us not getting through to the top 8....

We should begin creating a dossier of screenshots for every single time we have comments remove, or are told (incorrectly )that other comments posted about city do no break their rules. It should all be then sent to ofcom

BBC is a disgrace. Regardless of their biased football coverage, the amount of coverage they give the US is ridiculous. Even when there is some bad weather (which they get every year) the news and website is saturated with reports on it. They don’t do this with any other country. The other day they had 5 articles on their website about what is happening in Minneapolis.

Are they? The first 3 comments that were made on HYS when the article was first published were questioning impartiality and are still there. As are many others including mine. The removed comment was someone posting that we don't deserve support because we're cheats, I know because I read it earlier.

I have just read this now and it really is a shocking out in the open hatred for us as a club, but as ever we will say nowt.

Enough is enough. Just ban the BBC from the ground City.
I posted knowing it would get removed that the BBC are just a United propuganda company and it's baffling why City have not banned them from the grounds. Yep. it got removed. Allow people to call us cheats though, that's okay to them

They'll have a BBC Verify feature on your comment now where they splice misleading evidence together from 8 different sources to prove that you're wrong.

I see the ref, the one doing his first ever PL match, the one that was very brave, the one that every media outlet has praised .............
Isn't doing a PL match this weekend.
Dropped ! No never. On what grounds?
File under, you couldn’t make it up.
Bet that’s the last time he tries to usurp his betters, for all the bluster, I bet Darren England was fuming, it made him look a right c u next Tuesday.
