So not only did Amazon pay $40m for it (just a straight up donation to Trump) but they're paying cinemas to screen it. Normally it's a profit sharing system, cinema puts on film, distributor and cinema split the money. This is being distrubuted under whats called a four wall deal, where the cinema gets paid no matter how many people turn up - which is the only reason it's in any cinemas anywhere.
