Assuming Doku is out and no other changes in availability. Reijnders for cherki based on his running ability and cherki not putting in the work away from home, he's better option off the bench away right now. Ait-nouri over Nico O'Reilly just to try and get Ait-nouri up and running and Nico can then be an option in multiple positions from the bench.

That's why I've gone for a defeat :(. Patchy against this lot, and no idea why
At least we've got the same turnaround time, so not up against a team who've had a week off!!!
Hoping we can use February to get players back, and get some freshness into the legs of those running on fumes

I thought NOR played really well in midfield vs Galatasary.

But id prefer to have him defensively at fullback over RAN.....

If Rodri is fit he should start.

bernardo has been pivotal for us recently and probably our best player even int he games we have been shit in but it depends whether he is able to play games s clsoe together..

For the first time in a long time Pep maybe able to rotate with a bit more confidence especially with Nico G now looking like he is fit again

Cherki should definitely start and Im presuming Semenyo will..

Only question is whehter Doku is able to play (probably not) so who plays wide....Either Foden ro Marmoush and neither of them are really suited to that role.

Id be tempted to play

------Rodri---------bernardo/Nico G------

NOR----------Guehi----Khusonov-------Nunes

It would be very interesting to see Rodri and Nico G play alongside each other...both are underrated as creative forces and goal scorers - we know both are defensively very very solid

That team has suddenly got real physicality about it, avery solid base and still has creativity and goals.

If Im right in thinking Semenyo also prefers to play off the elft so with Doku out its probably a good time to try it

I’m not bothered about the players. I’m just pointing out that their supporters are basically cheering for their nightmare outcome if city don’t leave their place with 3 points.
