If you believe that then ultimately it's pointless to watch isn't it?
Not if he enjoys watching the team he supports.
Despite the above, he believes from observing a number of incidents, where the officials demonstrate that their decisions are inconsistent or biased to the point of being corrupt, due to the way that certain teams are treated by the PGMOL officials.
You say there is no clear bias, but many disagree with your opinion, and you are not the arbiter of whether he is right or wrong.
And it isn't up to anybody else to determine whether he should continue to watch games, whilst still upholding his convictions regarding the honesty of the officials.
There are so many who disagree with you, so they should all stop watching football according to you ?
