Szloboszlai will have to play against Semenyo which is not optimal for them, plus he will help less in attack and midfield.

Shame Doku isn't available...

Szloboszlai has started some games at RB this season. His pace and stamina help him in that role. Jones would find it very difficult against Semenyo due to being slower and having less experience at RB.

I wonder whether Wirtz starts on the left wing or behind Ekitike. The latter option would make them a bit more attacking and open. If Wirtz starts on the left, then Jones starts in midfield.

I was tempted to drop Haaland but then who comes in? Reijnders was a possibility but that would’ve meant altering the formation slightly and I’d prefer to keep the width because I think their full backs are there to be got at. If Doku was available then I think there’s a stronger debate to be had

Tough call on RAN vs NOR but I think RAN has looked good the last few games and injected a bit more creativity which we struggled with recently. Wouldn’t be mad with either starting though.

The one major thing for me is Rodri, Nico and Cherki all need to start
 
VVD, Allison and Salah are all on the wane.
Macallister's been poor all season as has Konate and Kirkez.
At best they have a makeshift right back where Szobozlai might have to play - taking him out of midfield.
Gakpo is very average, so the main worry for our defence is Ekitike who's looked a threat for them.
Wirtz? Meh!
So, nothing to worry about....

Haaland will start this gam eon his reputation not current form and that could be our downfall Marmoush gets around the pitch and presses and causes problems but when Haaland isnt scoring he is contributing very little on recent form , we cannot afford to go to Klanfield carrying a passenger and expect to get a result
, would go for , (but Pep will opt for Haaland)

I absolutely hate playing these especially at Klanfield. My least favourite fixture of the season. I’d love to see us employ the tactics we did at the Emirates earlier this season. But we won’t.

Yeah I'd be surprised if they take Szoboszlai out of the midfield against us.

Would be a good game if Doku was fit because I think they'd have to go Szoboszlai right back if that were the case.
