Yeah I got to know him very well for the best part of a decade. Well enough to tell him exactly what I thought of his presentation of all things City.

Different bloke with very different opinions away from the cameras.

I totally get people thinking he’s a prick. I think the part he plays is that of a prick (only too well) and I prefer not to watch him. So I’ve no issue with anyone calling him that. But talking about HMRC when he’s not had to pay tax for a decade and a half or him milking the NHS when he’s worth £20 odd million at minimum or clutching pearls about him being married to a now 37 year old woman he’s been in a relationship with for over a decade is scraping the barrel. As I say, just call him a ****, one doesn’t have to gild the Lilly.
 
Listened to a couple of pre-match pundits for this game and they already know for certain that Pep is leaving in the summer , and when asked why do you think that , they havent got an answer , its a gut feeling apparently. Yet when Scott Carson was asked , a guy who has worked with Pep for ten years , he stated he wouldnt be surprised if Pep signed another deal
The headlines are Pep is definitely leaving from no nowts , but the guy who knows Pep and clearly believes he could sign another deal doesnt get a mention
The media in this country is just click bait shite , talking , writing what their customers are craving for , Pep leaving City , personally i dont see another club in the world that gives Pep virtually everything he wants and total control , he will see his contract out and attempt to leave on a high , and i do not see him taking another club job , where will emulate what he enjoys at our club ? He will take a sabatical or take an national team job and after dealing with our dickhead UK media for a decade , he deserves a break.

I don’t really take any notice of him and see him as that bloke who set-up the football for Sky. He’s a salesman on TV who talks on behalf of the Red tops, because everybody knows that’s where the money is.

A highly paid influencer who made it in another country. No issues with that and his personal life is just that.

Lap it up. Loads of nited fans of a certain age here in Worcestershire who live on a diet of Red top papers and Sky telly with a bit of Talksport thrown in. Zero thinking involved. Football for the hard of thinking. (I stole the last line from Jonathan Meades years ago when he used to write in the Times!)

Btw, great reference to Jonathan Meades.. a reminder to re-read 'Pompey' sometime soon!
 
Just woke up here in misty Scotland and thought I'd have a check on the sports apps of the BBC and Sky for build up of the English 'El Classico' today.
All positive stories of dippers (and rags) but nothing on their opponents this afternoon.
Hold on wait I've found 1 on City...... 'Real Madrid step up their interest of Rodri'

Couldn't make it anymore clear and obvious that we really are hated in England by our weak,Yank arse licking media.

More than likely because 95% of them know fuck all about the club they purport to support.

They are the least knowledgeable of almost every other set of supporters simply because they are genuine hangers-on and stupid with it.
