Whilst I agree it's a long way to go, we haven't threw a single punch in this title race. Winning here I think would be the first time Arsenal go 'oh wait'. We'll have played United, Spurs and Liverpool away and kept the gap the same. Anymore than 6 imo is too much for this team to close.

All that said I think we'll get beat today, I also thought that at Arsenal though, hope I'm wrong.

To win at Anfield would certainly be a 'statement of intent' to Arsenal that we aren't quite done in this title race just yet , and even more so should we also manage to send Fulham packing next Wednesday night ..... but this is a fairly unpredictable city side , and we can't be sure of anything with them.

They turn var off when we go there! It’s the there is a fault with it it’s not working! Especially the offsides or the tight ones! Which it’s us it will go Liverpool way if it’s tight got Liverpool it will go there way!

Man City home and away gets fucked over! We don’t even get a fair referee at home!
The officials are on a bit of a roll with us this season…I expect it will continue today with the dippers allowed to kick fuck out of our players and City to concede free kicks for the slightest of touches..

1-0 City.

In the very last second, the ball from the penalty that Mahrez took a few season ago will finally come down from orbit and land on Alison’s head and trickle over the line causing all sorts of mayhem.
Var and the ref have no choice but to give a goal.
Slott combusts like that guy at the end of Raiders of the lost ark, spitty spits himself to death, dipper fans light candles, we laugh, then go on to win the league.

You heard it here first.

I just hope it’s not one of them games where you know after 20 minutes how it’s gonna plan out. Really need to stick it on them.

Trips to Anfield always used to be hugely stressful when we were going head-to-head for the title, but I'm a bit more relaxed about today knowing that the league has probably gone. Looking forward to seeing how we perform, and hoping we show a bit of grit and character like the Arsenal away performance, and not the turgid displays we saw at Old Trafford and Spurs recently.

Won't happen, of course, but I wouldn't be averse to a bit of a formation tweak for this one and a back three with Nunes and O'Reilly (or Ait-Nouri) as wingbacks and Cherki as a 10.

Donnarumma

Khusanov
Dias
Guehi

Nunes
Rodri
Silva/Gonzalez
O'Reilly

Cherki

Semenyo
Haaland

Not expecting much.

Club has a mental block when it comes to anfield.

Think we'll have big problems with Ekitike.

Then there's our 2nd half form.

Will be well happy with a draw.

Lets hope the team show the same desire as the clubs social media accounts

They're bigging it us as a huge game/day etc so let's see whether the players can match it
