Match discussion - Arsenal (A) WSL - Sunday 8 February KO 12:00

Arsenal got their tactics spot on by playing Smith centrally and using her pace against Knaak. THat's how they got their goal after all. Saying that though we haven't helped ourselves with a lot of the passing going astray. Not sure if that's a hangover from last week and we're just not on it today or the Arsenal press is affecting us too much.
 
Good move to try and shore up the middle. Blinky has been brilliant but today she looked overawed, we forget she is still very young and has plenty of time.
 
While we're clearly in a position where we can "afford" a defeat (8 points ahead if it stays this way), you just know that the media will run with the "does the wobble start here" narrative. Get a draw, and get the hell out of Dodge.
 
Much better - Sam winning her first 2 50/50's.

Christ can Arsenal players please stay on their feet - they are even asking for fouls when they clash with each other and the ref is all in!!

It's the same in the men's game, all this fall over when someone gets near you is just daft and has changed the game, I much preferred football when it was a contact sport
