The line up doesn’t really matter. The disconnect between pep’s system and players has been obvious.

It’s not easy watching us struggle but the process needs to be trusted if we are to follow pep trough another transition.

You do forget that he has done it before, ok maybe he had an exceptional group. The pressure was not the same as the legacy hadn’t been written yet. Especially the treble and 4 in a row.

We all need to take a collective breath and give into time. I’m gonna try anyway, these next 90 will be pain.

you obviously don't get the "legacy" berts then, pessimism and self deprecating moaning is a long time trait of being a city fan, a fan base that has been glass half full for eons.
I gaureentee 90% of those moaning about the line up are confident we can do it but it's natural to think the worst, and take what comes.

after all we are the original win of lose on the booze, typical city fanbase and many always go into games expecting the worst but knowing we will enjoy the ride anyway.

How you view city has no reflection on how you view life in general also.

It's the wierdos in the matchday thread you need to despair of not the pre match one.

I agree...I just don't think thr players we have brought in are the right players baring Guehi and Cherki......the rest are decent but are pkayers who are a step or 2 below the level we are needing to replace

The moaning makes zero sense. He finally puts out a side that might actually play in a way that doesn't play right into the dippers hands and there is widespread moaning because we're potentially not setting up in a way that we usually do and see's very little return?

All prefaced on the assumption we actually play how it would appear, direct, on the counter like an Arsenal away lite, its the best chance we've had in years at winning here.
 
A selection that appears solid defensively, but can it be brave enough to retain possession and create chances, or are we intent on striking on the counter? Plenty difference makers on the bench, so can the others keep things level until 60-70 minutes?

Pep has not been playing Marmous because he has favourites. Nothing more. He had his obsession with Savio and it didnt pay off, the same way benching Marmoush has made Haaland play like his spot is guaranteed.
