Exceptional half of football at Anfield by City. So unlucky that we could not scored.

We should be better second half than lately, we almost there in the season in our usual standards where progress should be seen.

Funny enough Semenyo had a very poor half, but he easily has a great quality and is so tough to mark for opponents. Could be so great player

Good half. Pep got the formation and tactics spot on…just need a bit more luck in the final third.

Started well, thought we went off the boil in the last 15 mins. Hopefully we come out firing instead of sleeping like usual. We have had a few games this season away where we haven’t made the most of our superiority. We need to be more clinical. Other than the Haaland chance we aren’t really creating much given how much possession we have had. Decent performance though.

The attacker are filling me with worry, both Marmoosh and Halaand have had 1-1 and missed.

There's a massive confidence loss with Haaland, no idea why, but hopefully get one soon.

Really good half, best we've played at Anfield for a while. Frustrating that we're not ahead, but no complaints about the performance so far (other than a bit of unnecessary messing about at the back early on). Team selection and tactics look spot-on so far.

Cherki sees Haaland, sees his runs. Maybe before he himself does. He is the one midfielder that's true of at present. That superb ball from him in the Newcastle game, that went exactly where Haaland wanted it to go. It was what Kev was doing in the first season. Should have been a goal, would have been but for a very good stop from Ramsdale.

Cherki false 9 for Haaland absolutely changes the game for me and gets the best out of Marmoush and Semenyo (and Cherki).
