Not sure about that Ait Nouri fella. Makes some strange decisions.

Dominated but havent really created much , i have doubts we can keep this pace up , we are reknown for tiring in the 2nd half Rodri and Bernardo getting on a bit , we may have missed our opportunity to win this game , Haaland again missed a sitter his recent poor finishing has cost us dear recently , just isnt the clinical player he was last year.

One of the best first half performances we've ever had at Anfield. Just missing a goal. The worry is obviously we have shat the bed secomd half of basically every game this season and to do so again renders the whole half meaningless.

Two issues I have is firstly bernardo and to a much lesser extent O'Reilly, are chasing shadows too high up, bernardo doesn't need to be running beyond our front 3 to press, just opens up huge gaps in our midfield. sit in the middle alongside rodri, oreilly can do a bit of it because he can get back in and give a barrier infront of our back 4, we do look like we can be cut open too easily with 1 good ball.

Second is Semenyo again looks like a pub player if he isn't scoring. His whole game has been horrendous. I'd be getting foden on and playing him out wide instead, foden doesnt deserve game time but he at least runs, can control the ball and pass to a blue shirt, three things Semenyo doesn't seem capable of right now.

I'd be very optimistic about yhe second half but for our recent history. Now is as good a time as any to put that issue right and beat these bricks.

Can also tell the ref is dying to get himself involved here with a red or a pen or something controversial, need to limit the opportunities for that to happen. Got a stronger bench than them for once, use it when we tire instead of wating too long. Reijnders can run, nico can add some solidity, ake and Dias if a defender gets booked and cherki and foden for a late match winner.

We’re crying out for Foden but where the fuck is he and his head/heart/brain

Without wishing to play armchair psychologist, and also taking into consideration its not highly unlikely at least someone on here knows him personally, it wouldn't come out as a huge surprise if in years to come he ends up coming out as one of those footballers who played the game without necessarily enjoying the career.
