Kick off time 19:30 (GMT).

Coming into this on the back of a monumental win.

This is to everyone going (I will be one of them). Get behind the players give them a proper roar home to the 3 points, it's on now and let push those twats from North London all of the way. Let's make it loud, show them proper appreciation for that performance at Liverpool.

---------------Donnarumma
Nunes---Dias----Guehi---O'Reilly
----------Rodri----Bernardo
Semenyo----Cherki------Marmoush
-------------------Haaland

Harsh on RAN who was excellent v Liverpool, he or O'Reilly getting rested is fine, so 50/50 in that position.

Khusanov is probably under concussion protocol but I'd start Dias anyway.

Arsenal don't play Brentford (A) until Thursday, let's close it to 3 points for 24 hours.

Salford (H) follows this one on the Saturday, so we can rotate in that one.

Come on City!

This is the team that played them last time and won.
But I don't want to watch a basketball game again!

This match only settled down the moment Cherki entered the game

I might have only two dilemmas for this match: Marmoush or Cherki, and Ait-Nouri or O'Riley.(LB)
Maybe resting Rodri should be avoided, as he can be rested against Stockport.

Reijnders should definitely not be in the starting 11; although he was good away against Fulham, we lost every duel in the midfield there

The same starting 11 as against Tottenham. The match we deserved to win and were robbed in. We have enough options off the bench to carry the second half

Well deserved rests for Rodri and Bernardo I think.

Donnarumma
Nunes Dias Guehi Ait-Nouri
Nico G. O'Reilly
Cherki Foden Marmoush
Haaland

Trafford, Ake, Alleyne, Lewis, Rodri, Bernardo, Reijnders, Semenyo, McAidoo

Think you mean Salford , don't you ??

Got some big decisions to make Pep.

Doku & Savio back very soon.

Add that to
Cherki
Foden
Semenyo
Haaland
Reijnders
Marmoush

Some may not even make the matchday squad soon.

99% Same as today......just play Marmoush 45mins, as he's knackered after that, running around like a headless chicken, and Cherki the other 45 as he disappears into thin air after 60mins max ;)

Today was great don't get me wrong, showed some real fight out there towards the end. But I do think we have to be more direct in games, more desire to win right from the off. Haaland said in an interview after the game that he likes it when the crosses come in, and when they started coming in towards the end, we created chances. Think we have to get the ball into the box more aerially otherwise we can't keep moaning about Haaland's lack of goals recently!

Really good towards the end though today lads, hopefully the buzz continues into Fulham on Wednesday and we hunt down Arsenal right until the end.
