20 | Bernardo Silva - 2025/26

It's really not all that complicated. Don't play Bernardo three days apart. Today is what he does when he's not run down. If Pep insists on playing him on Wednesday we'll get the watered down Bernardo. Not necessary or optimal...

He does all the subtle tactical stuff that, let's be honest, most fans don't notice or appreciate while also playing like a fan that doesn't want to get stick from office knob head on Monday morning. It's a shame him and Gundogan won't get statues as they're every much a legend.

Not necessary or optimal but I'd still start him and then rest him for Salford.

Many are too focused on speed or superficial stats and don't quite get Bernardo and Rodri. When things go wrong, the criticisms often focus on them, and before that on Gundo (Dias as well, as he is "slow").

I don’t think it’s happening but he deserves another year, very useful player to have around and instills that winning mentality of what is expected of playing for City.
I think it will be up to him.
He is playing as well as ever, speed maybe not what it was, but he is playing much deeper and compensating for that.

I think he’ll be offered a two year contract. Pep quite rightly loves him, including making him captain, I’d be amazed if he didn’t want him to stay.

I don't know what he's on but they should offer him a 1 year extension and pay him whatever Haaland is on

I think like David Silva, Ilkay, Bernie has never been a pacey player, but like them he is a brilliant player
Great players can compensate for their perceived weaknesses.
To be honest, he is one of those players that if he was playing for another club you would think he's a sneaky little shit, pulling shirts, tripping players, arguing every decision.
